MARK FINEOUT

PRINCIPAL

In 1973, Mark Fineout began his formal career in his fathers architecture firm Gordon D. Fineout Associates, where he developed strong technical skills in drafting, design coordination, and plan development, working closely with both designers and architects. This early experience shaped his deep understanding of how thoughtful design and documentation come together to create successful projects.

During this period, Mark also founded Fineout Construction of Okemos, a company specializing in major residential remodeling projects. Mark went on to expand his professional focus into commercial design services through the formation of Fineout Design Group, providing comprehensive planning and design solutions for commercial projects.

After 45 years in residential construction and commercial design, Mark founded Fineout Paulon Associates in partnership with Veronica Paulon. Together, they bring decades of experience, design excellence, and a shared commitment to creating functional, well-crafted spaces that serve both clients and communities.
